6. What is your investment philosophy?
Our investment philosophy is centered on helping clients pursue their goals with the least risk possible. We believe in building diversified portfolios that align with each client’s risk tolerance, time horizon, and financial objectives. A key part of our approach is helping clients understand and manage the nine key risks that can impact long-term investment performance, including:
-
Liquidity
-
Taxes (Biggest Expense You Will Have In Your Life)
-
Lifetime Income/Spending More Than You Have/Running Out of Money
-
Cost of Living Risk Inflation
-
Principal & Investment Risk (Target Returns Needed Using Investments With Least Risk)
-
Business Risk
-
Healthcare Risk
-
Asset Preservation & Legacy Risk
By addressing these risks through thoughtful diversification, strategic planning, and disciplined investing, we aim to reduce unnecessary exposure while still allowing for growth opportunities. We also actively monitor portfolios and keep clients informed, making adjustments when needed to stay aligned with changing markets and personal goals. While diversification and risk management can help reduce volatility, it’s important to note that no strategy can eliminate market risk or guarantee investment returns.
Our goal is not to eliminate risk entirely which isn’t possible but to manage it intelligently so clients can pursue long-term financial confidence with greater stability and independence.

Our Unprecedented 10x Financial Planning Retainer Promise
Once we gather all your financial data in our discovery call, we take time to strive and identify significant money saving value through a combination of tax planning , possible investment financial gains, potential increased income (pre- and post- retirement), asset/estate preservation, and cost-reduction strategies that you aren't currently using.
-
The Minimum Retainer Value Safety Net: If we find significant savings that would be worth your time to consult with us, we promise that it will be worth your time by showing you the possible savings, If we don't deliver on the promise we will refund part of your retainer.
-
Our 10x Your Financial Planning promise works this way:
-
After we share the possible savings, You choose the retainer you want to pay and then we promise to 10x that investment. For example, If we feel we can save you $50,000 in various savings ideas, normally our retainer would be 10% of that savings or $5,000. In that example we would be 10xing your investment in our financial planning retainer. If during our follow up consult we don't show you at least $50,000 in savings that we promised we will reimburse you the pro-rata difference. For example, if we only show you $30,000 worth of new ideas, your retainer would only be $3,000 instead of $5,000.
-
However, if you feel the maximum retainer you can afford is $2,000 then we promise to show you at least $20,000 of the $50,000 we have identified. Our minimum retainer is $1,500.
-
The Upside: The maximum consultation retainer fee we charge is $10,000. Even if we find $200,000 in savings and possible gains across our planning areas, your fee will still only be $10,000 which in that example would be 20x your initial retainer investment. The bigger the savings the more the return.
